Try the following points to refresh your mind, body and spirit:
Try to shed old wounds and grudges. It will empower your health and happiness. Read: Forgive for Godd; A proven Prescription for Health and Happiness, by Dr. Fred Luskin, or check out the Stanford University Forgiveness Project.
Watch funny movies, or read funny books. Becoming more light-hearted reduces stress.
Start a cooking club. Get some friends or family members together once a month, cook a bunch of stuff and freeze it. You’ll love having it on a night you don’t feel like cooking.
Learn something new. Studies in brain science show learning increases new dendrites, which helps reduce the onset of dementia. Try Rosetta tapes for language or The Brain Fitness program from PositScience.
Try Tai Chi or Qi gong to create more serenity in your life and for better physical balance. If that’s too quiet for you take some ball room dancing.
Volunteer your services. Helping someone else to feel good, increase your sense of well being and diverts your attention from your problems.
Have fun, but don’t wait for it. Become the fun you’re seeking!
