In winter of 2006 my daughter, Laurie, was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin Lymphoma.  Fortunately, we have been extraordinarily blessed thus far as Laurie has not had to undergo chemotherapy and is currently experiencing a state of remission.  Our entire family is incredibly grateful for the current status of Laurie’s health, but we know that the future is unpredictable.  Through dealing with the emotional hardship this illness has placed on us as a family we have become extremely committed to helping The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society continue its astounding efforts to find a cure for these diseases and to improve the quality of life for all those who are courageously fighting them.
