We'd like to challenge you to find out how much
of a sense of humor you really have by taking the following quiz from my most
recent book: Kick Up Your Heels Before
You’re Too Short To Wear Them. You might just learn something about
yourself and have a laugh to boot
Read the statements below and circle the number that best applies to you. If you circle a 7, you’re agreeing wholeheartedly that the statement is very characteristic of you (in other words, you’re saying, “I’m perfect and couldn’t improve!”). If you circle a 1, the statement is very uncharacteristic of you (“Not me! I may need a ‘humor transplant.’”). A 4 is when you’re truly in the middle of the road, and the rest of the numbers are lesser degrees of a 1 and 7. Be honest—no one’s watching! 1. If your score was from 100 to 112, you’re either lying or can’t add; a score between 90 and 99 indicates that you’re a “humor pro”; 70–90 means minor adjustments may be in order for you; and 45–70 suggests that a major adjustment is needed. If you didn’t laugh or smile at my scoring method, give yourself a zero.
